Peacock Mask

Each peacock mask is slightly different, but all of them are elaborate, with two peacocks’ heads on it, their necks entwined and their beaks facing one another. One of the most famous of these masks has one peacock made primarily of lapis lazuli and the other made of aquamarines, their beaks touching one another just over the eye holes of the mask. They have silver beaks and shell eyes. The spaces between the figures on the mask is black enamel, with suggestions of peacock feathers painted on in white.

Wearing the mask gives the wearer advantage to Insight, Investigation, and Perception.

However, the mask has no mouth: it completely mutes all verbal speech from the wearer, which means spells with verbal components cannot be cast while wearing it.
