Special Traits

  • Blood Frenzy. The megalodon mount has advantage on melee attack rolls against any creature that doesn’t have all its hit points.
  • Water Breathing. The megalodon mount can breathe only underwater.
  • Charge. If the megalodon mount moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a bite attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the megalodon mount can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

Actions

  • Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d10 + 8) piercing damage. If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or be swallowed by the megalodon mount. A swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the megalodon, and it takes 21 (6d6) acid damage at the start of each of the megalodon mount’s turns. If the megalodon mount takes 30 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, he must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate all swallowed creatures, which fall prone in a space within 10 feet of him. If the megalodon mount dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by him and can escape from the corpse by using 20 feet of movement, exiting prone.
