NPC Racial Features




Humans and monsters can be revised to be members of another race by applying the ability modifiers listed below and granting the indicated features.

Note: Some of this table is from an OGL product, and some of it has been derived from the base SRD monsters using the following formula:

  1. The creature gets a +2 in its highest stat. In the case of ties, the tiebreaker is the one that occurs first in: Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha.
  2. The creature gets a +1 in its second highest stat (or if it tied in step one, the equally highest stat.) In the case of ties, the tiebreaker is the one that occurs first in: Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha.
  3. If the creature has any stats of 6 or below, it gets a -2 in that stat.
  4. Natural armor bonus is calculated based on an AC formula of 10 + Dex + Natural armor bonus.
  5. Movement speeds, racial traits, and languages are preserved.
