Dancers are quick, dangerous saboteurs, always using the area around them to their advantage. The dancer’s role is to keep their enemies on their toes to maximize the battle’s entertainment value.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you choose this role at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the disguise kit and calligrapher’s supplies.

At 7th level, your instinctive agility lets you dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a lightning bolt spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

Blinding Glare

Starting at 10th level, you can spend 1 minute fashioning a glaringly bright outfit intended to distract your opponents. You must have access to a disguise kit or a combination of bells and reflective surfaces. Once your outfit is complete, you can easily avoid creatures’ attack rolls against you if they have to see you to attack. This gives those creatures disadvantage to attack you until you have been attacked a number of times up to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1). Attacks that hit you damage your outfit, reducing the number of times you can avoid attacks by an additional 1.

Potent Entertainer

At 15th level, your Gladiator Inspiration die turns into a d10.

Beginning at 18th level, your fans are rarely worried that you might be at a disadvantage in a fight. No attack roll has advantage against you while you aren’t incapacitated.
