Path of the Lycaeon

Lycaeon was the second king of Arcadia who fathered fifty sons and later went on to establish Arcadia’s towns and cities. He founded a cult dedicated to Zeus but decided to test his deity. When Zeus showed up at his doorstep, Lycaeon cooked up one of his own sons as a dish. Zeus detected the ruse and as punishment, turned him into a wolf. He also called down lightning upon Lycaeon’s house.

But that didn’t stop Lycaeon’s sons, who kept on cannibalizing the locals and sacrificing them in attempts to halt the slaughter of their livestock by wolves.

Even a flood didn’t stop the Lycaeon Zeus (literally, “Zeus of the She-Wolf”). They popped up again in Parnassus. The site of Zeus’ birth known as Mount Lycaeus was established as headquarters for all lycaeon.

Those who worship Lycaeon become werewolves themselves, albeit with much more control than a traditional werewolf.

Form of the Wolf

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, when you enter your rage, you can transform, revealing the bestial power within you. Until your rage ends, your mouth transforms into a wolf’s snout. Your bite deals 1d8 piercing damage on a hit. Once on each of your turns when you damage a creature with your bite, you regain a number of hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1 hit point).

Wolf’s Soul

Beginning at 6th level, the wolf spirit within you grows in power, causing the natural weapons of your Form of the Wolf to count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. You can also track other creatures while traveling at a fast pace, and you can move stealthily while traveling at a normal pace.

Pin The Prey

At 10th level, while you’re raging, you can use a bonus action on your turn to knock a Large or smaller creature prone when you hit it with melee weapon attack.

Call The Pack

At 14th level, when you enter your rage, you can choose a number of willing creatures you can see within 30 feet of you equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of one creature). Until your rage ends, the chosen creatures gain the Reckless Attack feature and you have advantage on saving throws against being frightened. You also gain 5 temporary hit points for each creature that accepts the benefit. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
