Harvest

Gods of the harvest watch over fields of grain and pastures of animals alike, offering protection to the bounty their worshipers strive to grow and cultivate. To these deities, a fine harvest is essential to the growth and development of the community, and so ensuring a bountiful crop likewise ensures the safety and satisfaction of their mortal flock. Harvest domain deities range widely in their teachings, with goodly deities requiring only hard, honest work and more wicked ones demanding sacrifice. They’re often seen as gods of all food and drink, not just those cultivated from the earth, and similarly include good fished from streams and seas, gathered from groves, or conjured with magic.

Blessings of the Harvest

At 1st level, you gain the ability to effortlessly gather food and supplies. You automatically succeed on Wisdom (Survival) checks to gather food and find water, and produce a modest quality meal for every 10 minutes of foraging you do. At the GM’s discretion, particularly bountiful regions can produce a comfortable quality meal for every 10 minutes of foraging you do, while particularly barren regions might only be able to produce poor or even squalid quality meals in the same amount of time.

Channel Divinity: Harvest’s Blessing

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to create a bountiful harvest for your allies to enjoy.

You conduct an hour-long ritual that imbues any amount of fare with divine magic; casting this ritual requires foodstuff worth 1 sp or more. At the end of the ritual, you create a comfortable three-course feast capable of satisfying 4 creatures plus 1 additional creatures equal to your cleric level. The meal includes dishes, silverware, tables, chairs, and anything else that one would need in order to properly enjoy the meal.

A creature who partakes doesn’t hunger or thirst for 24 hours, and they attempt all saving throws against disease or poison with advantage. These effects last for 24 hours.

Consuming the harvest takes 1 hours, and 1 hour after the feast is created, all leftovers and items conjured as part of the ritual (such as tables, chairs, silverware, and so on) disappear.

Harvest Magic

Starting at 6th level, you can expend a 1st-level cleric spell slot when you prepare a feast using your harvest’s blessing feature. If you do, all creatures who consume your harvest feast gain the benefits of one of the following spells for 24 hours: bless, protection from evil and good, sanctuary, or shield of faith. A creature can only benefit from one instance of harvest magic at a time; partaking in a second feast causes the benefits of the previous feast’s harvest magic to instantly end.

Improved Harvest Magic

Starting at 8th level, you can expend a 2nd-level cleric spell slot when you prepare a feast using your harvest’s blessing feature. If you do, all creatures who consume your harvest feast gain the benefits of two harvest magic spells or one of the following spells for 24 hours: aid, heroism, longstrider, or protection from poison. A creature can only benefit from one instance of improved harvest magic at a time; partaking in a second feast causes the benefits of the previous feast’s improved harvest magic to instantly end.

Hero’s Harvest

Starting at 14th level, a creature that partakes in a feast you prepare using your harvest’s blessing feature gains several benefits. The creature is cured of all diseases and poison, becomes immune to poison and being frightened, and makes all Wisdom saving throws with advantage. Its Hit Point maximum also increases by 2d10, and it gains the same number of hit points. These benefits last for 24 hours.

Greater Harvest Magic

Starting at 17th level, you can expend a 3rd-level cleric spell slot when you prepare a feast using your harvest’s blessing feature. If you do, all creatures who consume your harvest feast gain the benefits of two harvest magic spells or one of the following spells for 24 hours: beacon of hope, protection from energy, tongues, or water walk. A creature can only benefit from one instance of greater harvest magic at a time; partaking in a second feast causes the benefits of the previous feast’s greater harvest magic to instantly end.
