Arachnid

You have the magic of spiders flowing in your veins. Perhaps an ancestor of yours was a spider-like being or a servant of one, or perhaps your bloodline has been shaped by generations of devotion to spiders and mysterious magic.

Speak With Spiders

You can speak with spiders at will. This works like speak with animals, but only affects spiders.

Spider Bite

As an action you can magically manifest venomous fangs. Make a melee spell attack. On a hit, you deal 1d10 poison damage. This damage increases to 2d10 at 6th level, 3d10 at 11th level, and 4d10 at 17th level.

Spider Climb

Beginning at 6th level, you gain the ability to move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, while leaving your hands free. You also gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.

Additionally, you gain resistance to poison damage.

Web Sorcery

Beginning at 6th level, you learn the spell web, which does not count against your sorcerer spells known. You can spend 2 sorcery points to cast web without using a spell slot. If you already know web, you can instead learn a different spell of a level you can cast as a sorcerer.

Spider Sight

Beginning at 18th level, you gain blindsight with a 10 foot radius.
