Nyarlathotep (3pp)

You were chosen for your mastery of manipulation and were taken under the guidance of one who could manipulate towns, kingdoms, religions, and even you. The Crawling Chaos gave you powers to command the weak, sending the rabble into battle to die for you or the master.

These hordes may be dark cultists striving to serve horrors from beyond the stars, minor conjurers hoping for demonic power in exchange for services, druids believing you come from the fey, or even simple men and women who you stole from the countryside. You alone know the truth of who they serve They are your pets, nothing more!

Nyarlathotep Expended Spells

Nyarlathotep lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

3rd conjure animals, nondetection
4th polymorph, conjure minor elementals or conure minor fiends or conjure minor aberrations
5th modify memory, conjure elementals or conjure fiends or conjure aberrations

Twist Others to Your Whims

Starting at level 1, your patron teaches you how to manipulate others and sow distrust among even the most stalwart. You gain proficiency in Charisma (Deception) and Charisma (Persuasion). If you are already proficient in either of these abilities, the proficiency bonus is instead doubled.

Will Breaker

Starting at 6th level, your patron gives you the ability to bend minds to your dark purposes. You gain the ability to cast break will as a bonus spell but it affects creatures of 1/3 your level only. You may cast the spell again following a long rest.

Inescapable Yoke

Starting at 10th level, you can better command those you enchant. The duration of all conjuration and enchantment spells you cast is doubled. You may elect to reroll a Concentration check to maintain a conjuration or enchantment spell, taking the second result even if it is lower. You may do so again after a long rest.

Utter Depression

When you reach 14th level, you learn to cause others to fall into a pit of despair at the slightest word. You may look another humanoid creature in the eyes if it is within 30 feet and learn the things it resents the most in itself. You then begin to recite those details to it at a whisper that only it can hear, causing the creature to feel the deepest selfloathing possible. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target attempts to kill itself with whatever weapon or attack it has at hand. Each round, the only thing the target may do is attack itself with the weapon or attack it has that does the most damage. At the end of each of its turns, the target is granted another Wisdom saving throw to end the effect. This ability continues until the target is dead or it succeeds in it’s saving throw. You do not need to concentrate to continue this ability. You may not use this ability again until you finish a long rest.
