You were once held as property by another individual, and considered less than a person; however, whether by chance or through careful planning, you were able to seize an opportunity and escape from the clutches of your former owner, taking your destiny into your own hands.

Suggested Characteristics

Some escaped slaves live life to the large, taking every opportunity to explore their freedom. Others live with their nose to the ground so as to remain hidden from bounty hunters and the wrath of their former owner. Escaped slaves who gain a certain amount of power and wealth often use their resources to aid other slaves in gaining their own freedom.
