You’ve likely run into hundreds of people living lives similar enough to your own, tied to the rhythm of the land. They see a kindred spirit in you, and you understand them better than your fellows do. You know what it means when goblin raiders threaten a harvest, or when night-creature sorcery dims the sun’s light, and unlike so many, you’re in a position to do something about it.

You can always provide enough food for yourself and a few others just by gathering it from the environment, as long as you’re in a natural setting and you don’t stay in the same place for more than a day or two.
