Apothecary

Though they are the most common of alchemy practitioners, apothecaries are still considered miracle workers in the eyes of the general public. They produce effects that rival those of powerful clerics and druids with mortal ingenuity and expertise. Many apothecaries serve courts and hospitals, or have their own shops in large cities. Though a few wander the world in search of rare ingredients, knowledge, or just to help the downtrodden.

Apothecary’s Aids

At 3rd level, you have developed two unique medicinal aids.

Smelling Salts. As a bonus action, an unconscious creature of your choice within 30 feet of you regains hit points equal to 1d4 + your Intelligence modifier, and is no longer unconscious. A creature can then use its reaction to immediately stand up. You can use this feature an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus. This ability refreshes when you finish a long rest.

Life Water. As a bonus action, you can produce and administer an elixir that bolsters a creature’s vitality. A creature you touch gains temporary hit points equal to 1d4 + your Intelligence modifier. You can use this feature an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus. This ability refreshes when you finish a long rest.

Alchemical Potency

At 6th level, you quickly enhance the power of healing potions. If you or any friendly creature who is within 30 feet of you consumes a potion of healing of any rarity, you can use your reaction to allow it to reroll any dice that roll a 1 or 2. The creature must use the new result.

Greater Panacea

At 10th level, you can cure nearly any ailment. Once per day, you can produce and administer an elixir to a creature you can touch and end one of the following effects:

  • One effect that charmed or petrified the target
  • One curse, including the target’s attunement to a cursed magic item
  • Any reduction to one of the target’s ability scores
  • One effect reducing the target’s hit point maximum

Healer’s Satchel

At 14th level, using your concoctions has become instinctual. You can use concoctions as bonus action an amount of times equal to your Intelligence modifier. This ability refreshes when you finish a long rest.
