Baalzephon

Baalzephon controls the guards and watches of hell itself.

He has given you power and a guardian. This dark devil follows your every command, but also constantly reminds you of your debt, making sure Baalzephon’s every word and whims are followed. Your guardian may be antagonistic, but you know never to strike it, as any slight against it is a slight against the master!

Baalzephon Expanded Spells

Baalzephon lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Master’s Guard

Starting at level 1, the master gives you a most gracious gift. You gain a lemure companion. You and your companion share a connection, allowing you to give the creature mental commands. These commands are limited in scope but as an action, you can command the companion to take the Attack, Dash, Disengage, Dodge, or Help actions. When you move, you can also command your companion to take a move action as well. If you choose not to move on a turn your companion may still take the Dash bonus action as well as another action you give it as a command.

Add your proficiency bonus to your companion’s attack rolls, damage rolls, and to any skills and saves it is proficient with. Increase your companion’s hit points by double your warlock level.

If your companion dies, you will receive another at midnight, when an envoy of the master will appear and provide one. This envoy may also chide or punish you for your failure to protect one of the master’s investments.

Coordination for the Master

Starting at 6th level, you begin to listen to all the dark whispers the master’s gift has provided you. Once per turn, when you attack a creature engaged with your companion, you gain advantage on the attack roll.

Fury of the Duo

Starting at 10th level, when you attack a target with a ranged or melee attack that your companion or a creature summoned by you is engaged with, you may command your companion or the summoned creature to make an attack as a bonus action.

Companion Transformation

When you reach 14th level, the master finally learns of your true value! Your companion becomes a devil of up to CR 2. The creature still follows all the rules stated above for your companion.
