Brass Dragon

You have gained the patronage of the most gregarious of the metallic dragons — a brass dragon. Your patron is a curious collector of all manner of minutiae from fictional stories, poems, and songs to historical accounts of wars and descriptions of breathtaking landmarks. Your patron asks you to lead a life of adventure to accumulate knowledge that can be shared with it and to search for intelligent magical items capable of holding continuous conversations with your patron.

Expanded Spell List

Brass dragons let you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

The cantrip listed at 1st level is considered a 1st level spell for you.

Draconic Senses

Starting at 1st level, you gain darkvision 60 feet. If you already have darkvision from a racial feature, the range of your darkvision increases by 30 feet.

Foster Communication

At 6th level, after a long rest, as an action, you can focus your mind on three different languages. You learn how to speak, read, and write these three languages until your next long rest.

Energy Immunity

By 10h level, you gain immunity to fire damage.

Scorched by the Desert Sun

At 14th level, when you hit a creature with an attack, you can use this feature to make your weapon radiate with the heat and light of the sun. Your target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, your target takes 10d10 fire damage and is permanently blinded unless the condition is magically removed. On a successful save, your target takes full damage but does not become blinded.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
