Canine Domain

The Luperci are priests of the wolf god Lupercus. They were formed out of a college of patrician families and believe to be descended from a line of lycan rulers.

Acolyte of Nature

At 1st level, you learn one cantrip of your choice from the druid spell list. You also gain proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Nature, or Survival.

Bonus Proficiency

Also at 1st level, you gain proficiency with martial weapons.

Channel Divinity: Lead the Pack

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to be imbued with the spirit of an alpha wolf. For 1 minute, allies you designate have advantage on melee attack rolls against any creature within 5 feet of you that is hostile to you. These allies are considered canines for the purpose of other effects.

Channel Divinity: Alpha’s Blessing

At 6th level, when a canine within 30 feet of you makes an attack roll, you can use your reaction to grant that canine a +10 bonus to the roll, using your Channel Divinity. You make this choice after you see the roll, but before the DM says whether the attack hits or misses.

Protect the Pack

At 8th level, when a canine is affected within 30 feet of you is about to take damage, a second canine within 30 feet of the first can use its reaction to teleport to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the first canine. The second canine then takes all the damage instead.

Master of Hounds

At 17th level, your spells affect canines. Any spell that affects a humanoid or beast can also be cast on creatures that qualify as canines. Canines include the following: arcanaloth, barghest, blink dog, death dog, glabrezu, hell hound, hound archon, lycan, mastiff, shadow mastiff, werewolf, wild dog, winter wolf, wolf, yeth hound. The DM may include other canines at their discretion.
