College of Transformation

Bards of the College of Transformation use their magic to alter their bodies to emulate one of the most powerful creatures known — the dragon. Armed with powerful natural weapons, these bards visit remote and dangerous locations where they search for treasures, some magical and some not, but all valuable and unique.

Eye for Valuables

When you join the College of Transformation at 3rd level, you gain advantage on Intelligence (Arcana) skill checks and Intelligence checks to estimate the value of a precious item. Additionally, you can cast detect magic without expending a spell slot a number of times equal to 1 plus your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).

You regain all expended uses after you finish a long rest.

Ancient’s Wisdom

Also at 3rd level, as a bonus action, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to grant yourself the wisdom of one who has lived many lifetimes. You gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) skill checks and Wisdom saving throws for a number of rounds equal to your Charisma modifier.

Dragon Anatomy

At 6th level, after a long rest, you can expend two uses of your Bardic Inspiration to grow a dragon tail. Your tail gives you a new Attack option. You are proficient with your tail which has a reach of 10 feet and deals 1d8 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Aerial Domination

At 14th level, as a bonus action, you can grow a pair of wings that last for 1 minute and grant you a fly speed of 30 feet.

Once you have used this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
