Greed Domain

One of the worst insults leveled by a dwarf at another dwarf is to call them a knock. These creatures knock about in mines, making noises and piteously trying to lure any sentient being to them with wealth. Dwarven greed is well-known, and knocks are the reminder that if pushed too far, dwarves can succumb to become these rat-like beings.

Double Dealer

At 1st level, you gain proficiency in Deception and Sleight of Hand skills. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of these skills.

Channel Divinity: Cheat

From 1st level, you bend the odds in your favor. When you use your Channel Divinity, the next roll you make involving chance has advantage. If there are multiple outcomes (for example, a game of chance), you always receive the most favorable result.

Covetous Cache

At 2nd level, you are able to conceal objects on your person better than most. Your carrying capacity doubles and you have advantage against all checks to determine if something is concealed on your person.

Channel Divinity: Compel Gift

Starting at 6th level, you can use your Channel Divinity to compel sentient creatures to give you something. As an action, you present your holy symbol and invoke the name of your deity. Each humanoid that can see you within 60 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the humanoid fails its saving throw, it moves to you by the most expedient means available and hands over whatever it is holding in its hands. The effect ends immediately thereafter.

Strike a Deal

At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with greedy energy. One weapon you choose is gilded with gold or silver (your choice). The weapon is not destroyed on a natural 1, but weighs 50% more. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with this weapon, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 psychic damage. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.

Infectious Greed

At 17th level, you can inspire greed in others. When you use your Compel Gift feature, you can alternately cause any creature who fails its save to attempt to take an item you determine within 60 feet. The creature uses its movement on each of its turns to enter the area or move within reach of the target. When the creature has done so, it can’t willingly move away from the target. The effect lasts for 1 minute or until it takes damage.
