Hope

The deities of hope are patrons of those who aid others, bring hope to the downtrodden and are pillars of their community. They are leaders and supporters. They fight those who would sow fear and ensure the growth and happiness of their community.

Domain Spells

You gain domain spells at the cleric levels listed.

Community Builder

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency in the Insight, Medicine, or Persuasion skill (your choice).

Inspiration

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you can touch a creature, as an action, and fill their mind with inspiration. They gain a d4 they may add to any one skill or ability check made in the next minute.

Channel Divinity: Preserve Hope

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to heal the badly injured.

As an action, you present your holy symbol and evoke healing energy that can restore a number of hit points equal to five times your cleric level.

Choose any creatures within 30 feet of you, and divide those hit points among them. This feature can restore a creature to no more than half of its hit point maximum. You can’t use this feature on an undead or a construct.

Channel Divinity: Aura of Hope

At 6th level, you may use your Channel Divinity as an action to exude a 20 ft. aura that bolsters the morale of your allies. All creatures beginning their turn in or entering the aura (including yourself) gain advantage on saving throws against the frightened and demoralized conditions. The aura remains in effect for 1 minute or until you dismiss as a bonus action.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Beacon of Hope

At 17th level, the radius of the aura of hope extends to 40 feet. Additionally, any ally within the aura is immune to the frightened and demoralized conditions and you sheds light as a torch from your body. The light can be suppressed or reactivated as a bonus action.

Fighter (Battlefield Beacon) The battlefield beacon is a guiding light on the battlefield, they give hope to their allies and inspire their allies to great heroics.

Raise the Beacon

When taking this archetype at 3rd level, you learn how to inspire your allies to keep their morale and wits about them.

When you use your Second Wind feature, you can choose up to three allied creatures within 60 feet of you. If you and the selected allies are affected by the frightened or demoralized conditions, the affected creatures may immediately make a new save against the effect. The saving throw is made against the original DC and if successful, the condition is ended. The allies must be able to see and hear you to be affected.

Voice of Peace

The battlefield beacon not only inspires his allies on the battlefield, he also is a voice for avoiding unneeded conflict.

Starting at 7th level, you gain proficiency in the Persuasion skill. If you are already proficient in it, you gain proficiency in another skill available to the Fighter class.

Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check made using Persuasion. You receive this benefit regardless of the skill proficiency you gain with this class feature.

Inspiring Actions

Starting at 10th level, when you use your Action Surge class feature, you can choose one allied creature within 60 feet of you. That creature gains the effects of the heroism spell.

Starting at 18th level, you can choose two allies within 60 feet of you, rather than one.

Shield against Despair

Starting at 15th level, you bring retribution against those who would strike your allies or the weak. If an adjacent ally is attacked or targeted by an offensive spell, you may use your reaction to move up to your movement and make a single attack against the creature who attacked your ally. Any movement used by this ability is deducted from your movement on your next turn. If the attacked ally is affected by the frightened or demoralized conditions, you have advantage on this attack.
