Monstrum Venator Conclave

The monstrum venator is many gothic foes’ most hated enemy. These are the humanoids that have suffered at the claws and teeth of vampires and werewolves. As a result, they have dedicated their lives to exterminating entire species. Since the contagion of these species spreads easily, their work is never done. It is said that the first monstrum venator made a deal with an ancient god to live forever so that they may track their foes’ bloodline throughout the ages.

Monstrum Venator Magic

Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the table below. The spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of ranger spells you know.

Ranged Mastery

At 3rd level, you are proficient with crossbows and firearms and have a +1 bonus to attack rolls on ranged attacks with them. When making a ranged attack with a crossbow or firearm while you are within 5 feet of a hostile creature, you do not have disadvantage on the attack roll. Your ranged attacks with crossbows or firearms ignore half cover and three-quarters cover against targets within 30 feet of you.

Reveal Shapechanger

At 3rd level, you can spend one spell slot to utter ancient words that are painful for shapechangers to hear. As an action, you present a holy symbol, and each shapechanger within 30 feet of you that can hear you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is turned for 1 minute or until it takes damage. A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of you. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action. If the creature’s true form is concealed by an illusion, shapeshifting, or other effect, that form is revealed while it is turned.

Monstrum Sight

Starting at 7th level, you can see the true form of any shapechanger or creature concealed by illusion or transmutation magic while the creature is within 30 feet of you and within line of sight.

Incorruptable

At 11th level, your stamina increases to such a degree that you are no longer vulnerable to the attacks of the foes you hunt. You are immune to disease, poison damage, the poisoned condition, and lycanthropy.

Ageless

Starting at 15th level, you manage to keep yourself going through sheer force of will; long enough to be a threat to immortal beings. For every 10 years that pass, your body ages only 1 year.
