Necrophage Touched (Barbarian Primal Path)

The void artifact has touched your mind and begun to twist your form. As you grow more powerful, so the alterations made by the artifact spread and grow stronger. For some reason, the void artifact is choosing to keep your mind intact, though you still hear it’ s voice.

Claw Growth

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, when you enter your rage, your biology twists to form an extra appendage from your back in the form of a scythe-like claw. This claw deals 1d6 damage (deadly 1d10). You may attack with the claw as its own attack or along side another attack once per round. At 10th level, you gain a second scythe-claw and may make two claw attacks as a single attack action. You may still only use one of the claws once per round with other attacks. At 20th level, the scythe claws are always manifested, even when not raging, though you do not gain the ability to attack with both scythe claws at once or with other attacks.

Conditioned to the Void

Beginning at 6th level, the void artifact is preparing your physiology for possible exposure to the void. You gain resistance to cold damage and no longer need to sleep making you immune to abilities that render you Unconscious via sleep. Additionally, you may go 1 month without eating or drinking. At 18th level, you become immune to cold damage and no longer need to breathe. You gain these effects even when not raging.

Shifting Physiology

Beginning at 10th level, the necrophage is having a profound impact on your internal phisiology, shifting and protecting various internal organs and hardening your skin. While raging, you gain immunity to Poison damage and the Poisoned condition. You are unable to contract diseases and critical hits do not deal additional damage. However, a critical hit will sever one of your scythe claws, which takes 1d4 rounds to regrow. At 20th level, you no longer need to be raging to gain the effects of this ability.

Mental Shifting

Beginning at 14th level, you are no longer sure who is in control anymore, the void artifact or you. While raging, you are immune to the Charmed and Frightened conditions and have advantage on any saving throw that targets the mind, like psychic spells, emotions, etc. At 20th level, you no longer need to be raging to gain the effects of this ability.
