Path of Primal Fury

Primal fury barbarians are a force to be reckoned with.

Completely disregarding all the trappings of progress and society, they are as fierce and deadly as any other type of barbarian. They cannot use ordinary weapons but are instead more deadly with simple weapons than most believe possible. Primal fury barbarians are often entirely cut off from all society, including their own. They might have been raised by wolves, left alone in the wilderness to survive, or simply came from a tribe even more primitive than most.

Simple Weapon Expertise

Starting at 3rd level, you have an aptitude unmatched with two simple weapons of your choice (one melee and the other thrown). When wielding the simple weapons you have chosen, the damage die of that weapon is increased by 1 step.

For example, if you have chosen the handaxe, which normally deals 1d6 piercing damage, it now deals 1d8 piercing. Regardless of the weapon chosen, the damage die may not exceed a d12.

Simple Weapon Accuracy

Beginning at 6th level, the attacks you make with the weapons of your choice are even more accurate than usual. When raging, you receive your Wisdom bonus to your attack roll.

You must use your favored weapon for all attacks this round, and this ability does not apply to any combat situations that grant advantage. Should you gain advantage, you must choose between gaining advantage or using the simple weapon accuracy ability. This ability ends when your rage ends.

Simple Weapon Mastery

Beginning at 10th level, you have mastered the two simple weapons of your choice. When wielding the simple weapons you chose at level 3, the damage die of that weapon is increased by two steps. For example, if you chose the handaxe, which normally deals 1d6 piercing damage, it now deals 1d10 piercing. Regardless of the weapon chosen, the damage die may not exceed a d12.

Simple Weapon Rush

Beginning at 14th level, you become exceptionally deadly with your chosen weapon. When raging, you may take one additional attack per round with one of your chosen weapons.

You must use this weapon for all attacks made this round, and this ability does not apply to any combat conditions that grant advantage. Should you gain advantage, you must choose between gaining advantage or using the simple weapon rush ability. This ability ends when your rage ends.
