Path of the Wolf Warrior

To tread the Path of the Wolf Warrior is to bond with the savage world, to walk the untamed places and become a creature as much of the wild as of the villages and towns of civilization. These lupin warrior-shamans are always ready to defend or lead the pack and are respected and feared in equal measure.

Wolf Coat

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you must make or acquire a coat of wolf hide.

Though nonmagical, you must be wearing the coat in order to utilize your class features. If you lose your wolf coat, you must acquire another or craft one from animal hide (an activity that takes 1 hour). This crafting can be performed during a short or long rest.

Additionally, the pelt of the wolf protects you when you enter battle. While raging, provided you are wearing your wolf coat, you have resistance to acid, fire, and lightning damage.

Lupine Senses

At 6th level, while you wear your wolf coat, you share in the hunting prowess of your sacred animal.

You can move with stealth while traveling at a normal pace, and you can track other creatures even while traveling at a fast pace.

Consult The Spirits

At 10th level, you can cast the commune spell without need of a material component provided you wear your wolf coat, but only as a ritual. When you do so, the spirit of the wolf manifests to give you the information you seek. On rare occasions (and at the GM’s discretion), this wolf spirit might be replaced with an einherjar, one of the honored dead, by a valkyrja, or even by Naði, goddess of the night herself. After you cast commune in this way, you can’t use this feature again until you finish a short or long rest.

Wolf Pack

Starting at 14th level, and provided you are wearing your wolf coat, you gain advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of your allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated. Due to your lupine leadership skills, this feature can be shared with a number of your allies equal to your proficiency bonus as long as those allies are within 30 feet of you.
