Pyro Path

The arrival of weapons like cheirosiphons and explosives have enabled a subset of psychopathy that at one point was limited to sorcerers and their ilk. Now with explosive death at everyone’s fingertips, it just takes the right amount of resources and recklessness to create a pyro with little regard for life or limb.

Heart of Fire

At 3rd level, whenever you use a heavy weapon that inflicts fire damage, it inflicts an additional amount of fire damage equal to half your heavy level (minimum of 1).

Fire in the Veins

At 6th level, you gain resistance to fire damage. In addition, any heavy weapon you wield that inflicts fire damage ignores resistance to fire damage.

Pyromaniac’s Fury

Starting at 10th level, when you hit a target with an attack that inflicts fire damage, you can use your reaction to deal additional fire damage in a 15 foot cone originating in the attack’s damage (for melee weapons, a 5 ft. area in front of the pyro; for ranged weapons, you choose which part of the area originates the cone). The damage equals your heavy level, sets everything within the cone on fire (inflicting 1d10 fire damage each round and requiring a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw to end the effect) and ignores resistance to fire damage.

Fiery Soul

At 14th level, you gain immunity to fire damage. In addition, any heavy ranged weapon you wield that inflicts fire damage ignores resistance to fire damage and treats immunity to fire damage as resistance to fire damage.
