Pyromancer

Fire flows through your veins, but not the mundane fire known by most mortals. Rather, the purest essence of fire suffuses you and gives you power. Fire draws you, demands your attention, and rewards your dedication. A deep warmth, uncomfortable and even painful at times, never leaves your limbs and leaves your skin hot to the touch. Your magic draws from a deep elemental well within you, perhaps originating from the Elemental Plane of Fire.

Fire-Infused Magic

You are drawn to fire-based spells above all others.

Beginning at 1st level, you can add two of the spells listed in the table below to your list of spells known. These spells count as sorcerer spells for you, but they do not count against your number of sorcerer spells known.

When you reach 3rd level, you can add one more spell from those listed in the table below. You must otherwise follow all restrictions for these spells.

Searing Touch

At 1st level, you can make a melee spell attack against another creature. If you hit, you inflict 1d8 plus your Constitution ability modifier in fire damage to the target.

The base damage increases to 2d8 at 5th level, 3d8 at 11th level, and 4d8 at 17th level. In addition, you can expend one sorcery point per die of damage inflicted as a bonus action on this ability or any fire-based spell to ignore a creature’s fire resistance.

Warded By Flame

Starting at 6th level, as a reaction you can spend 1 sorcery point to gain resistance to fire damage for 1 minute.

Alternatively, you can spend 1 hit point to gain resistance to fire damage until the end of your next turn.

In addition, when you cast a spell that deals fire damage, you can add your Constitution ability modifier to one damage roll of that spell.

Wings of Fire

When you reach 14th level, you can use a bonus action to summon a pair of fiery wings that sprout from your back.

With these wings, you gain a fly speed of 30 feet. These wings lasts until you become incapacitated, die, or if you dismiss them as a bonus action.

Elemental Form

When you reach 18th level, as a bonus action you can spend 6 sorcery points to transform into a being of fire.

You gain a fly speed of 60 feet and you can move through a space as narrow as 1-inch wide without squeezing. You gain immunity to fire damage. If another creature touches you or hits you with a melee attack while within 5 feet of you, they take 1d10 fire damage. If you hit a creature as part of a melee attack, you inflict additional fire damage equal to your Constitution ability modifier. Finally, you shed bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light out an another 30 feet.

You remain in this form for 1 minute, but it ends early if you become incapacitated, die, or if you dismiss the form as a bonus action.
