ABOUT

This tiny humanoid has brown hair, bright blue eyes, and a shaggy appearance. It wears ragged brown clothes.

Brownies live in pastoral regions, often in small burrows or abandoned buildings. They are fascinated by farm life and can frequently be found in close proximity to farms.

These helpful creatures engage in combat only when threatened. Possessing great agility and keen senses, brownies are virtually impossible to surprise. They excel at blending into their surroundings.

Brownies are vengeful creatures, and if criticized or mistreated in any way, they may undo their good work in a fit of pique. Despite their small size, brownies expect fair treatment in return for the tasks they perform. They help with chores such as plowing, reaping, grinding grain, and cleaning houses, but they expect offerings of the best cream and freshly baked cakes or bread.

In their natural habitat, brownies are vegetarians, making use of wild fruits and gleaned grains from farmers’ fields. They are resourceful and utilize leftovers that humans may overlook. Brownies are not greedy and often possess small hoards of treasures gifted by humans.

Brownies are sociable creatures within their communities and maintain a watchful eye over strangers until their intentions are established. If deemed harmless, strangers are left in peace. However, if considered a threat, the brownies will unite and drive the intruder away.
