Special Traits

  • Padded Feet. The bugbear archer has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks to move silently.
  • Precise Aim. If the bugbear archer does not move during its turn, it adds 1d4 to its attack roll with its longbow.


  • Longbow. Range Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 150/600, one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 +3) piercing damage.
  • Dagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.


Bugbears usually prefer close combat, but are intelligent enough to see the value of archers, especially to provide support while facing particularly tough foes.
