SPECIAL TRAITS

  • Ephemeral. The canwyll corph can’t wear or carry anything.
  • Ethereal Sight. The canwyll corph can see 60 feet into the Ethereal Plane when it is on the Material Plane and vice versa.
  • False Appearance. While the canwyll corph remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary candle.
  • Illumination. The canwyll corph sheds dim light in a 20-foot radius.
  • Incorporeal Movement. The canwyll corph can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. It takes 5 (1d10) force damage if it ends its turn inside an object.
  • Undead Nature. The canwyll corph doesn’t require air, food, drink, or sleep.

ACTIONS

  • Incorporeal Touch. Melee Spell Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (3d4) necrotic damage.
  • Deathly Aura (Recharge 5-6). The canwyll corph releases an eerie aura in a 5-foot radius. Each creature in that area must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, taking 10 (4d4) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
  • Etherealness. The canwyll corph enters the Ethereal Plane from the Material Plane, or vice versa. It is visible on the Material Plane while it is in the Border Ethereal, and vice versa, yet it can’t affect or be affected by anything on the other plane.
