  • Fog Breath (Recharge 5-6). The knucker exhales poisonous fog in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 31 (9d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The area is also heavily obscured for 1 minute; however, the knucker can still see clearly.

ABOUT

A strange water dragon lives near lakes and rivers. The monster is known as a knucker and its home is called a knuckerhole. These round holes are filled with water, and nobody has ever discovered how deep they are.

Perpetual Pandemonium. The water dragons eat livestock, beasts, and humanoids. They don’t usually live too far from humanoid settlements so they can have access to a constant supply of food.

Foggy Ideas. Knuckers are able to breathe out a large cloud of fog. This makes it very difficult to see anything and the monster can make its escape if necessary.

Unwanted Attention. Most of these dragons found near rural communities get a lot of attention. Townsfolk will organize and send out armed militia to deal with the threat. They often attempt to destroy the monster’s knuckerhole.
