SPECIAL TRAITS

  • Brute. A melee weapon deals one extra die of its damage when the drow protector hits with it (included in the attack).
  • Fey Ancestry. The drow protector has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put the drow to sleep.
  • Innate Spellcasting. The drow protector’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
    • At will: spare the dying
    • 1/day each: faerie fire, silence
    • Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the drow protector has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception, Survival) checks that rely on sight.
    • Swift. The drow protector can take two reactions per round.
    • Unwavering. The drow protector has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.

ACTIONS

  • Multiattack. The drow protector makes three melee attacks or two ranged attacks.
  • Longsword +2. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d8 + 6) slashing damage.
  • Composite Bow +1. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 160/500 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned for 1 hour. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the target falls unconscious for the same duration, or until it takes damage or another creature uses an action to shake it awake.

REACTIONS

  • Protection. When a creature the drow protector can see attacks a target that is within 5 feet of it, the drow protector can use its reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. The drow protector must be wielding a shield.
