SPECIAL TRAITS

  • False Appearance. While a tukkuru gargoyle remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an inanimate object.
  • Swarming Grappler. The tukkuru gargoyle can grapple a creature up to two sizes larger than itself and can move at full speed when dragging a creature it has grappled. Furthermore, a tukkuru gargoyle can grapple a creature already grappled by one or more tukkuru gargoyles. When it does so, the DC to escape the grapple increases by +2 for each gargoyle grappling it beyond the first. A creature that succeeds on an escape check is no longer grappled by any tukkuru gargoyles regardless of how many were grappling it. A tukkuru gargoyle grappling an opponent has advantage on bite attacks against the grappled opponent, but cannot make claw attacks.

ACTIONS

  • Multiattack. The tukkuru gargoyle makes one Bite attack and one Claws attack.
  • Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d4) piercing damage.
  • Claws. Ranged Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, range 10 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d4) slashing damage. If the target is a creature of Medium size or smaller, it is grappled (escape DC 10).
