    • Ethereal Sight. The leanan sidhe can see 60 feet into the Ethereal Plane when it is on the Material Plane, and vice versa.
    • Innate Spellcasting. The leanan sidhe’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17). She can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

      • Life-Draining Embrace. Melee Spell Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 22 (4d8 + 4) necrotic damage. The leanan sidhe gains temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt.
      • Inspirational Muse (Once per Short or Long Rest). The leanan sidhe chooses one creature within 30 feet that can hear her. The creature gains advantage on its next ability check, attack roll, or saving throw within the next minute. The leanan sidhe can use this ability once, and it recharges after a short or long rest.
      • Lure of the Otherworld. The leanan sidhe can attempt to charm a humanoid creature within 30 feet that can see and hear her. The target must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be magically charmed for 1 minute. While charmed, the target idolizes the leanan sidhe, considering her the most beautiful and inspiring being in existence. The charmed target will do anything in its power to please and impress the leanan sidhe. Each time the leanan sidhe or its allies do anything harmful to the target, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success. Otherwise, the effect lasts 24 hours or until the leanan sidhe dies, is on a different plane of existence from the target, or ends the effect as a bonus action. If a target’s saving throw is successful, the target is immune to the leanan sidhe’s Fey Charm for the next 24 hours. The leanan sidhe can have no more than one humanoid charmed at a time.
      • Sorrowful Melody (Recharge 5-6). The leanan sidhe sings a haunting and melancholic melody. Each creature of her choice within 60 feet of her must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become overwhelmed with despair for 1 minute. During this time, it can’t attack or target any creature with harmful abilities, spells, or other magical effects. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.

      • Ethereal Jaunt. As a bonus action, the leanan sidhe can magically shift from the Material Plane to the Ethereal Plane, or vice versa.

Though she lacks a physical face, when a leanan-sidhe appears before her chosen lover, she becomes the embodiment of the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Her appearance varies based on the viewer’s perception, but she always exudes an air of ethereal beauty that captivates mortal hearts.

The leanan sidhe (leh-NAN-shee), also known as the Fairy Lover, is an enigmatic being from the Otherworld. The leanan sidhe is said to reside in sacred wells and streams within the Otherworld, but she can traverse between the realms and often appears near places of inspiration, such as ancient ruins, standing stones, and artistic sanctuaries.

The leanan sidhe seeks out young and talented artists, poets, musicians, and writers, who possess a deep desire for creative inspiration. With her bewitching charm, she draws these gifted individuals into passionate relationships, where she becomes their muse, granting them unparalleled talent and creativity. However, her inspiration comes at a steep price, as she gradually feeds off her lovers’ life force, leading to their ultimate downfall.

The leanan sidhe’s influence is both a blessing and a curse. Those who embrace her become extraordinary artists, producing masterpieces that evoke the deepest emotions and passions. However, this inspiration is often short-lived, leaving the artist empty and consumed by his connection to the fey beauty.

Only those with immense strength of will may resist the leanan sidhe’s allure and avoid becoming one of her charmed lovers. If a mortal manages to refuse her advances, she becomes his servant instead, forced to serve his creative needs until he decides to release her from her binding enchantment.

Some accounts claim that the leanan sidhe’s lovers become her slaves, forever tied to her enchanting power and unable to escape her embrace even in death. Others tell of a more tragic fate, where the artist’s longing and despair for her unattainable love eventually drive him to madness or self-destruction.
