Special Traits

  • Charge. If the pachycephalosaurus moves at least 20 feet straight towards a target and then hits it with a ram attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 11 (2d10) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

The pachycephalosaurus is another herbivorous creature that gathers in herds. These creatures have a hardened head plate that makes them especially deadly when charging and ramming. The pachycephalosaurus is extremely territorial, and will try to frighten intruders before bashing them mercilessly. Some gladiatorial arenas use these creatures to engage in single combat for the benefit of spectators.
