  • Blood Sacrifice. At the start of his turn, the Poqoza warrior can use an action to ritually wound himself to gain advantage on his melee attacks. The warrior runs the edges of his macuahuitl across his chest, taking 1d4 slashing damage and gaining advantage to all melee attacks made with his macuahuitl for a number of rounds equal to the damage.
  • Dog Master. Poqozo warriors often raise war dogs as companions. They gain a bond with one dog that they raise from birth. They can communicate with the dog using simple commands such as “fetch,” “heel,” “attack,” and “track.” If the situation calls for an ability check when communicating with his dog, the warrior always has advantage on the check.

  • MacuahuitlMelee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage.
