ABOUT

The rootkin brown bear is feared by travelers who see it as a vicious predator, but it’s an omnivore above all else. It fishes, eats many kinds of plants, and happily feeds on insects. It’s an especially formidable threat when defending its territory or offspring. It has the reputation of being easier to anger than its surface counterpart, which could be explained by the increased difficulty in fleeing or pulling back in the Netherworld. Netherworld druids, much like those of the surface, have a great deal of respect for this creature, and it often holds an important place in their myths.
