Special Traits

  • Ethereal Awareness. The shadow wolf can see ethereal creatures and objects.
  • Pack Tactics. The shadow wolf has advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of the wolf’s allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated.
  • Shadow Stealth. The shadow wolf has advantage on Dexterity (stealth) checks made in dim light or darkness.
  • Sunlight Weakness. While in bright light created by sunlight, the shadow wolf has disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws.

Actions

  • Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 10 (2d6 +3) piercing damage.

Reactions

  • Fade. When the shadow wolf is hit with a targeted attack, the creature can choose to immediately fade in and out of the ethereal plane. The damage from the attack is then reduced to 0, unless it can deal damage to ethereal creatures.
