Diplomatic

You have mastered the art of diplomacy. You have negotiated between nations and Chartered Houses.

Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.

You gain proficiency in the Persuasion skill. If you are already proficient in this skill, double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with it.

If you spend at least 1 minute talking to someone who can understand what you say, you can make a Charisma (Persuasion) check contested by the creature’s Wisdom (Insight) check. The creature gains advantage if it is hostile to you or any of your companions. If you succeed, the target considers you a friendly acquaintance, from then on, when you make a Charisma (Persuasion) or Charisma (Deception) check, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10. The effect ends if you or your companions do anything harmful to it.
