Exotic Weapon Master

You are an expert with a variety of different, almost unique weapons rarely seen. This grants you the following benefits:

  • Increase your Strength score or Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
  • When you obtain a melee weapon with which you are proficient that does not have the heavy property, you can declare it an exotic weapon.
  • When you declare a weapon exotic, you can change the weapon’s damage type to bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing and add one of the following properties to the weapon if it does not already possess it: finesse, reach, thrown (20/60), or versatile (increase the weapon’s damage die by 1 size when you wield it in two hands).

Only a creature with this feat or a similar ability can wield an exotic weapon with proficiency.
