Master of Illusions

Prerequisite(s): duergar or student of an oldstone duergar master, ability to cast at least one spell

Several millennia ago, duergar were renowned for an extraordinary mastery of illusions. Duergar spellcasters benefit from this experience, and still have great affinity with illusion spells.

  • All illusion school spells are now considered class spells for your spellcasting class.
  • You learn an ancient variant of the sleep spell. This spell functions in the same way, except it belongs to the illusion school of magic and bypasses immunity to magical sleep.
  • You can cast an illusion spell among your known spells without using a spell slot, but its level must be lower than your proficiency bonus. Once you’ve used this feat’s ability, you must finish a long rest to use it again.
