Amalgam Armor of the Iron Mage

Armor (plate), artifact (requires attunement by a sorcerer, warlock, or wizard)

This suit of armor was assembled from pieces of at least a dozen other suits, all near artifact level in power themselves. Somehow, it was fashioned from them a suit that took on the magical qualities of all the armors represented. You are proficient in this armor, it has no Strength requirement, and it doesn’t give disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks. It grants you the following abilities.

  • You gain a +5 bonus to AC.
  • Any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit.
  • Resistance to acid, cold, electricity, fire, thunder, and nonmagical damage.
  • Advantage on all saving throws.
  • No damage from magic missile (as if protected by shield).
  • Ignore the somatic components of your arcane spells.
