Argent Oil

This thin silvery oil can be applied to a weapon or to a suit of medium or heavy armor.

When applied to a weapon, it sticks to the weapon for 1 hour and allows it to bypass resistance to damage as if it were a silvered weapon. The weapon also remains bright and shining as if polished and is immune to the attacks of rust monsters or similar effects.

Argent oil applied a suit of armor protects that armor from rust monsters and similar effects for 1 hour. It also grants the wearer a +1 bonus to AC against attacks from devils, lycanthropes, and (at the GM’s discretion) other creatures whose damage resistance against weapon attacks can be overcome by silvered weapons.
