Bag of Necrotic Caltrops

This midnight black and corpse-gray leather bag holds a dozen +1 caltrops coated with necrotic ocular poison.

Radiates: Conjuration and necromancy magic.

Power: You may reach into this alchemist’s bag as an action and scatter a dozen +1 caltrops in a 10 x 10 foot area. The caltrops do 2 points of piercing damage and 1d4 points of necrotic damage (2d4 at night or while underground); in addition, they inflict the blinded condition for 1 minute on any creature they damage unless it succeeds at a Dexterity save with a DC equal to 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus. After 1 minute, the caltrops vanish and reform inside the bag. You may use this power once per short or long rest.

Special: If you are a rogue, you may use this power as a bonus action instead of the Dash, Disengage, or Hide actions granted by Cunning Action.
