Beam Saber

Weapon (scimitar), very rare

A beam saber is comprised of a foot long hilt and a three-foot long blade of contained plasma.

A beam saber may be ignited as a bonus action, using 1 charge and causing the blade of plasma to erupt from one end of the hilt for 1 minute. The blade deals 2d6 fire damage and 2d6 lightning damage on each hit, but the wielder’s Strength bonus does not add to the damage it deals. The concentration of the beam saber’s plasma blade is so great that if the target object has a damage threshold of 20 or less, the beam saber bypasses it completely, allowing it to cut through common wood, stone, and metal. The beam saber can hold up to 10 charges and regains 1d6 charges each day at sunrise.
