This bookmark alters the appearance of the book that holds it so that it appears to be a different book entirely, even upon a thorough reading.

The apparent book is determined when the bookmark is crafted, usually an especially boring or commonplace book such as a religious or legal treatise or a mundane business ledger. The bookmark also protects the book from divination as a nondetection spell.
