Bow of Swords

Weapon (scimitars), rare (requires attunement)

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with these magic weapons.

These weapons are treated as a single magic item for the purpose of attunement, and you must possess both scimitars to attune to them. While attuned to the scimitars, you have advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks made to interact with elves and halflings.

You can use a bonus action to join the scimitars at the hilts and speak the command word. When you do so, a bowstring made of harmless energy connects the swords from tip to tip, transforming the scimitars into a +1 shortbow.

When you use a bonus action to speak its command word again, the weapon reverts to its scimitar forms.

While the weapon is in its shortbow form, if you draw the bowstring without providing ammunition, the weapon magically conjures arrows of radiant light. Ranged attack rolls made with these arrows of light deal 1d8 plus your Dexterity modifier radiant damage. When you hit an undead with an arrow of light, that creature takes an extra 1d8 radiant damage. In addition, creatures that take damage from the arrows shed dim light in a 10-foot radius for 1 minute.
