This thin +1 dagger is nearly a foot long and is shaped more like a sharp-tipped wand than a typical dagger. It has three charges. While holding it, you can use your bonus action to expend one charge to add 2d6 necrotic damage to a successful melee attack with it. The dagger also channels this energy into your hand, inflicting 2d6 necrotic damage to you (however, if you are undead, this heals you instead of harms you).

The wand regains three expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the wand’s last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand loses its ability to add necrotic damage but can still be used as a +1 dagger.
