Defender’s Shield

Shield, rare (requires attunement)

Lore. Paladins use these shields to protect their comrades, magically interposing the shield between a victim and their attacker.

Powers. While holding this shield, you gain a +1 bonus to your AC. In addition, when a creature you can see within 15 feet of you is hit by a weapon attack, you can use your reaction to cause that attack to miss.

Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
