Mounted on a heavy leather and metal shoulder harness, this reinforced spherical helmet is made of a transparent magical glass that underwater becomes as hard as steel, granting the wearer a +1 bonus to AC when immersed in at least 5 feet of water and not wearing heavy armor.

The diving helmet provides the wearer with an unlimited supply of breathable air, and as a bonus action the wearer can cause the diving helmet to light up, providing bright light in either a 15-foot radius or a 30-foot cone in one direction. While underwater, the wearer of a diving helmet has resistance against pressure damage caused by deep water.
