Fatesplitter

Weapon (scimitar), legendary (requires attunement by a rogue)

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, when you miss with an attack with this weapon, you can invoke a fate that might have been. When you use this power, your attack strikes the creature after all. You don’t deal weapon damage or add your ability modifier or damage bonuses of the weapon itself, but the target takes damage equal to your sneak attack dice 5 (even if you do not meet the conditions for a sneak attack or have already used it this round), and can trigger other effects that might occur on a hit due to feats, spells, or other abilities you possess. You must finish a short or long rest before using this power again. In addition, as long as you are wielding fatesplitter, whenever you use Uncanny Dodge, you may roll 1d4 and add it to your AC against the attack that just struck you. If this would cause the attack to miss, you take no damage from that attack.
