When wearing these gauntlets, you have advantage on ability checks to avoid being disarmed and Athletics (Strength) checks to climb. If you have particular fighting styles, you gain a benefit to your weapon attacks: Dueling: When wielding a one-handed melee weapon, you can roll 1d10 for the weapon’s damage instead of the normal weapon dice.

Great Weapon Fighting: When wielding a two-handed melee weapon, you can roll 2d8 for the weapon’s damage instead of the normal weapon dice.
