This glistening +1 shield is crafted of magically hardened and preserved ice. It sheds a faint blue-white glow, providing bright light within 10 feet and dim light within an additional 10 feet. A glitterfrost buckler is translucent, allowing you to can avert your eyes from a creature by looking at it through the shield, giving you advantage on saving throws made against effects that rely on seeing that creature, such as the gaze of a medusa. Additionally, you can use a reaction to reflect the ability back at the creature that produced the effect. Once this special reaction is used, it cannot be used again until you complete a long rest.
