Gloves of the Wyrm

Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement by a druid)

These leather gloves are made from chromatic dragon hide. Once per day, as an action, you can speak a command word to make the gloves grow claws while the scales extend from the gloves up over your arms and torso providing increased protection against attacks. The added protection provides a +3 bonus to Armor Class as well as immunity from one type of energy depending upon the type of dragon the gloves are fashioned from as detailed on the chart below. The claws allow you to make one claw attack on each of your turns as an action. You are proficient with the claws which use your Strength or Dexterity modifier on the attack roll (your choice) and deal 2d6 + your Strength modifier slashing damage. This transformation lasts for 1 hour.
